Clear fees, no surprises.

I know private healthcare isn’t accessible or affordable for everyone. If working with a private dietitian isn’t the right option for you, I’ve put together a resources page, with free and low-cost services, support options and other places you can look for help.

If you’re unsure what might be available to you, you’re also welcome to get in touch and we can talk through your options.

Medicare rebates

You may be able to get some of your appointment fee back through Medicare.

If you have an eligible referral or management plan from your GP, you may be able to claim a Medicare rebate for dietetic appointments. This can include support through a GP Chronic Disease Management plan or an Eating Disorder Management Plan.

How it works:

1. Your GP checks whether you’re eligible and provides the appropriate referral or plan.

2. You book the appointment that suits you.

3. You pay my usual private fee upfront.

4. You claim your Medicare rebate afterwards (We process this for you on the day of your appointment)

Not sure whether Medicare applies to you? That’s okay. Your GP can talk you through your eligibility.

*Medicare rebate amounts are based on current applicable rebates and may change. Your eligibility and rebate will depend on your individual circumstances and referral or management plan.

NDIS costs

If you’re self-managed or plan-managed, your dietetic appointments may be funded through your NDIS plan.

My NDIS dietetic rate is $178.99 per hour, in line with the applicable NDIS price limit.

Initial appointments are 90 minutes ($268.49), allowing time to understand your needs, current supports and goals, and develop a plan together.

Review appointments are generally 60 minutes ($178.99), plus 10 minutes of clinical notes included as part of the appointment.

Other non-face-to-face work, reports, travel or non-labour costs will only be charged where applicable and will be outlined in your service agreement.

Before we start, your service agreement will clearly set out:

  • The supports you’re accessing

  • The hourly rate

  • Any applicable travel or other costs

  • What is included in your appointment

  • How and when invoices are paid

Self-managed participants are responsible for paying invoices, which are due within 7 days.

Plan-managed participants will have invoices sent directly to their plan manager.

I’m currently able to work with self-managed and plan-managed NDIS participants only. I’m not a registered NDIS provider, so I can’t currently provide services to NDIA-managed participants.

If you’re not sure whether your NDIS plan can fund dietetic support, your Support Coordinator or Plan Manager can help you check, or you’re welcome to get in touch before booking.
